The Colfe and Hatcliffe Glebe Almshouse, built in 1962, was refurbished in 1992 and 2002. It provides 12 separate, self-contained flats with an attractive, enclosed and peaceful garden. It replaces two earlier almshouses: the Colfe Almshouses which stood opposite on the Lewisham Registry Office site and the Hatcliffe Almshouses in Catford.
A Warden is contactable Monday to Friday, 9am – 5pm, and all flats are connected to the London Borough of Lewisham LinkLine service for emergencies and out of hours support.
The Colfe and Hatcliffe Glebe is linked to and supported by the Worshipful Company of Leathersellers who nominate two trustees.
