Lewisham Parochial Charities is an umbrella organisation which administers two almshouses, one of which in partnership with the Lewisham Almshouse Charities of William Hatcliffe & Abraham Colfe.
They are modern buildings with secure and comfortable self-contained flats for fully independent living but with the support of a warden and London Borough of Lewisham Linkline for out-of-hours and emergency support.
Our charities which offer services to residents of the Ancient Parish of Lewisham are:
Lewisham Relief in Need (1025779) – runs an almshouse and offers grant funding for individuals
Lewisham Education Charity (1025785) – offers grant funding for students under 25 years of age
Lewisham Almshouse Charity of John Thackeray (1025792)
Lewisham General Trust (1025794) – offers grant funding for organisations
